May,21 2011, Friday – The first plenary day.
09.00 – 10.00 Participants’ registration, organization.
10.00 – 10.30 Opening of the conference, beginning of the work.
10.30 – 13.00 The first plenary session.
13.00 – 14.00 Dinner of the participants.
14.00 – 16.00 Section work.
16.00 – 17.30 General excursion around Sevastopol, including visiting of St. Vladimir Cathedral in the city centre.
18.00 – 21.00 Excursion to Chersonesus – Christianity cradle of Kievan Rus.
- Visiting St. Vladimir Cathedral (Chersonesus)
- Theatrical performance in the ancient amphitheatre of the Chersonesus.
- Dinner in Italian Yard. Rest at the seaside.
May,22 2011, Saturday
10.00 – 13.00 Section work
13.30 – 14.30 Dinner of the conference participants with the tasting of the dishes of Ukrainian, Armenian and Tatar cuisines in Balaklava.
14.30 - 19.00 Cultural program.
- Visiting of the Crimean War museum.
- Ancient Balaklava, Genoese Fortress.
- «Fraternity of cultures» in the open sea (yacht sail in the Black sea).
19.00 – 21.00 Sizing up of the conference. Dinner at restaurant.
May, 23 2011, Sunday
Participants’ departure.
- Individual programs of staying at the conference are possible on demand.
- Extra excursions on demand (not less than 15 people):
- Revival of the cave towns in Crimea after 500 years of oblivion. Pilgrimage tour to the male monastery of St. Theodore Stratilat with the font in the holy spring.
- Visit to Yalta: Livadia Palace. Ground floor: Yalta Conference of 1945,1st floor: summer residence of Emperor Nicholas 2 and his family.
- Wine-cellars of Crimea. Visiting tasting rooms of Inkerman wine plant or Sevastopol champagne plant.
