The first International Youth Festival

“The Parade of Cultures  Sevastopol”

(Sevastopol, 19-23 May 2011)

The first International Youth Festival “The Parade of Cultures  Sevastopol 2011 is held annually in Sevastopol having as motto:

“Youth for drawing nearer cultures and peoples”

During the festival there will be held:

competitions, meetings of the collective bodies chiefs, master classes of professional teachers, collective acting of competitors with the stars of the world scene.

In Ukraine the festival is supported by:

• state administration of Ukraine in Sevastopol.
• the Ukrainian Maritime Institute (Sevastopol).
• the International Cultural Centre (Sevastopol).
• Tavrichesky national University named after V.I.Vernadsky ( Simferopol).
• Tourism and Cultural Department of Sevastopol.

Collectives, duets and soloists can act in the following nominations:

• theatrical genre (comedy theatre, drama theatre, the theatre of national costume, fashion theatre, etc)
• vocal (soloists, ensembles, choirs)
  • national genre
  • academic genre
  • variety genre
• dancing (solo, ensemble)
  • classical ballet
  • national ballet
  • ballet dance
  • variety and sport dance
• musical instruments genre (solo, ensemble)
  • national genre
  • variety genre
  • symphony genre
• original genre (solo, ensemble)
  • acrobatics
  • circus

The competition program is estimated by independent jury, members of which will be honoured culture and art workers, professional teachers of dance, vocal, theatre, working actors, noble persons, representatives of mass media.
